This paper describes the application of our MEL-concept and our measurement tool MEL-index within an executive education program of a large German Mittelstand company. We discuss the impact of applying our tool in different business units with different business models and different business and growth perspectives. It demonstrates the interrelation between skills of the executive team and the business requirements of the respective business unit.
